Comr. Bokan Otone, a staunch grassroots political youth leader has cried out that, he is yet to see Nigerian politicians in House of Assembly, House of Representatives and Local Government Chairmen particularly those representing the Itsekiri ethnic nationality conducting any awareness campaign against Covid -19 by sharing Face mask, hand gloves and sanitizers.
Comr. Bokan revealed this recently in an interview with Warri Voice Newspaper in Warri.
"if it's election period we would have been seeing different prints of caps, polo and 2kg of rice been distributed to gullible Nigerians because they need their votes." he opined.
further stated that, "My brothers and sisters, if they can't provide these amenities for us at this critical period for survival, then it should be stay at home during election period because, all they are after is their pockets not our well-being."
He used the opportunity to advice the people living in Warri and its environment to strictly adhere to government instructions so as not to be victims of the dreaded corona virus. "Staying at home is the best treatment for now." he stressed.
