Itsekiri National Association(INA) of Washington Baltimore CMSA USA , has given free WASC enrollment to indigent Itsekiri Students who were not successful in their first WASC attempt, which is the basic requirements to higher Institutions.
The free WASC enrollment for the students which was drawn from various Itsekiri Communities also include a free Extra Moral Classes on all subjects at Arolly Secondary and Commercial College, Warri.
The President of INA, Dr. Mejebi T. Mayor who was ably represented by Mr. Lucky Omire Mayor in a visit to Arolly College recently in Warri to ascertain the level of performance of the students, stated that "this year's enrollment will make it the fourth year the Association has embarked on this charitable work", adding that, they have achieved a huge amount of success since the inception of the scheme.
The President encouraged the students not to give up despite not making WASC in their first sitting, rather, they should study hard to ensure that they scale through this time.
Dr. Mejebi Mayor appreciated the Director of the School, Hon. Roland Atsiangbe for his efforts in ensuring that the students come out in flying colours.
Responding, the Director of Arolly Secondary and Commercial College, Hon. Roland Atsiangbe thanked members of the Association for rendering help to Itsekiri students who have written WASC once, but did not make all their papers, saying that the group has been doing a marvelous job in Warri kingdom which is worthy of emulation and prayed that INA will continue to affect lives positively through this medium.
Emmanuel Madamedon who spoke on behalf of the students, thanked the Association for giving them the opportunity, assuring the group that they will study hard to ensure they make it this time.
