CLEAN UP BIG WARRI ROADS

Topic: News

As part of efforts to add to the colour and beautification of Itsekiri Ancestral home, Ode Itsekiri-Olu (Big Warri), an indigenous company, Frankrolex Nig Ltd has gainfully employed the services of ten women to take charge of the cleaning and beautification of all roads in the quiet and peaceful community.

Dr. Francis Anomu

In an interview with the Director of Frankrolex Nig Ltd on what prompted him to undertake the project, Prince (Dr.) Francis Anomu said that while listening to Warricom Radio station, June 142022, he heard the Manager of the station, Mr. Taiye Amatesiro in his regular programme tagged “Ojowuro” complaining that all the roads in Big Warri are littered with dirts. “I quickly called on him to put ten (10) women on a monthly salary which will be sponsored by my company”.

Dr. Francis Anomu who also encouraged parents in the community to send their children/wards to the only primary school in the community where they will be well taught to read and write very well in a peaceful atmosphere devoid of cultism and less side attractions further appealed to all indigenes to clean up their quarters on a regular basis and not to wait for Coronation Anniversary time before putting their quarters in order.

In the same vein, youth chairman of Ode-Itsekiri Olu, Mr. Jonathan Ameye thanked the Management of Frankrolex Nig Ltd for the kind gesture and prayed that the good Lord should touch the heart of other companies and public spirited individual to borrow a leaf from them.
