Engr. Benjamin Irone and his Siblings have given their dear mother, Late (Mrs.) Rose Orighomisan Irone a befitting burial.

 


Mrs. Rose Orighomisan fondly called Alagboku died February 8, 2023 after a brief illness at the age of 76.

 


A special Service of Songs was held in her honour on Thursday April 13, 2023 at her residence, 15 kingdom close, Off New Layout, Egbokodo Itsekiri Warri.

On Saturday April 15, 2023 her body was taken from Naval Hospital along NPA Expressway to her residence in Egbokodo Itsekiri for open air service and interment, conducted by Foursquare Gospel ChurchUbeji.

 


Entertainment of guests followed immediately at Ubeji Grammar School Playground, Ubeji town, Warri.

 


Until her death, She was a staunch believer of the Gospel, a devoted member of Foursquare Gospel Church who has engraved her footsteps in the sand of time by touching many lives positively.

 


According to the Eldest Son of late Mrs. Rose Orighomisan Irone, Engineer Benjamin Irone while reading the biography during the funeral service, averred: “My dear Mother was a woman with a large heart, hardworking and conscientious with special attention to ensuring that her children and descendants had the best that life could offer.

“That is why today and always, we celebrate the life and times of a woman of women, a dogged achiever, a goal-getter, bridge builder, an elegant woman and a lover of God.”

 


Late Mrs. Rose Orighomisan Irone (Née Ekpoto) hailed from the Families of Pa. Thomas Ekpoto Orighomitueyi of Omadino, Crown Prince Erefoluwa, Erejuwa 1 of Ureju, Ireyetsoritseone Okpara Dibofun of Jakpa and Madam Amutortor Omatseye of Bateren, all in Warri South LGA and Warri North LGA of Delta State.

She is survived by her children, Mrs. Oritseweyinmi Ekele, Engr. Benjamin Irone, Mr. Frank Irone, Mrs. Juliet Eyeta, Mrs. Edna Omadeli, and numerous relatives.
